Mildred Luvene White Waddell, age 95, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in a local healthcare facility. She was born on June 23, 1925, in Piedmont, AL, to the late Hiram Percy White and the late Ollie Romana Smith White. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Millard Jackson Waddell, one daughter, Virginia Mooney; one son, Cary Ladell Jackson; and a granddaughter, Patricia Denise Boatner.  Mildred was a seamstress at Hubbard's Slacks for many years and was a member of the Mt. Zion East Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, M.J. Jackson, Jr. of Irvine, TX; one daughter, Kathy Lanell Jackson Weaver of Cave Spring, GA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; friend and caregiver, Tina Rowell of Temple; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mildred Waddell will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2021, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenny Teal officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Tallapoosa with following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Don Boatner, Chase Futtrell, Dawson Boatner, Mason Boatner, Billy Wayne White, Randy Wiggins, Joshua Wiggins, and Johnny White.  The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we ask that all attending the service and/or visitation wear a mask and maintain proper social distance from those not in your family.  We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.  All ceremonies are limited to a maximum of 50 guests per state guidelines.
