Mrs. Mildred Richards Talley, age 91, of Bremen passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013.  Mrs. Talley was born in Haralson County on November 14, 1921.  She was the daughter of the late Luther B. Richards and the late Mamie Payne Richards.  Mrs. Talley was retired from the Cluett, Peabody Outlet Store in Bremen.  Her first husband, Murdock White was killed in action in World War II.  She later married Elmer Talley who passed away in 1972.  Other family members to predecease Mrs. Talley are two sisters, Kate Williams and Geraldine McPherson; and three brothers, Frank Richards, Lawrence Richards and Curtis Richards.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and John Snuggs of Bremen; one sister, Carmie Dobbs of Buchanan; one grandchild, Hayley Entrekin and her husband, Walter of Bremen; two great grandchildren, Brianna Lovring and Brendan Entrekin both of Bremen; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 4, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. from Bremen First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Tidwell and Rev. Gerald Varner officiating.  Music will be rendered by the Church Choir.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Skippy Wieniewitz, Bill Miller, Mike Cheshier, Ricky Dobbs, Peter Marcuz and Robbie Threadgill.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Bud McPherson, Mitchell Marcuz, Evan Marcuz, Elizabeth Marcuz and the Stella Walker Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
