Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Earline Bishop Munroe, age 79, of Bremen passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. Mrs. Munroe was born in Haralson County on November 24, 1934.  She was the daughter of the late William Oscar Bishop and the late Annie Hudgins Bishop.  Mrs. Munroe was a beautician.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Rudolph Munroe.


Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, LaNay and Jimmy Edgeworth of Covington and Lynn Munroe of Bremen; one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Ginger Munroe of Buchanan; two sisters, Naomi Milliron of Temple and Nell Whitton of Bremen; one brother and sister-in-law, Denver and Willie Bishop of Buchanan; five grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.


Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Harold Underwood officiating.  Music will be rendered by Jeanette Underwood.  Interment will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Wayne Edgeworth, Danny Bishop, Terry Heuer, Matthew Whitton, Mitchell Whitton and Keith Whitton.


The family will receive friends a the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:000 P.M.
