Mrs. Mildred Cantrell Medina, age 81, of Bremen passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016.  Mrs. Medina was born in Carrollton, Georgia on October 11, 1934.  She was the daughter of the late Henry G. Cantrell and the late Amsey Bell Cantrell.  Mrs. Medina was retired from Stoffel Seals in Tallapoosa.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Paul Medina, Sr.; grandson, Nathan Roberts; two sisters, Shirley Cantrell and Willie Myrl Cantrell; one brother, James Cantrell

Survivors include six children, Diane and her husband Danny Smith of Temple, Patricia and her husband Bobby of Shelton of Muscadine, AL, Sherry Medina of Bremen, Penny and Paul Smith of Ranburne, AL, Andrew Paul Medina, Jr. of Bremen and Larry Andrew Medina of Muscadine, AL; one sister, Eula Mae Williamson of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Grady and his wife Frankie Cantrell of Carrollton; ten granddhildren, Christy Patterson, Misty Jones, Amanda Kelly, Sean Smitherman, Tommy Ward, Daniel Ward, Ginnie Estvanko, Landon Bryant, Cameron Medina and Lauren Hulsey; thirteen great grandchildren, Summer Shoemake, Shea Morris, Stephen Jones, Casey Jones, Bre'ana Walker, Cody Wad, Kaleb Ward, Jayden Ward, Matthew Huckeba, Miracle Price, Matthew Estvanko, II, Michael Estvanko and Ava Hulsey; one great grandchild, Keegan Copley; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel Dr. J. Howard Mills officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
