Mrs. Mildred Christine Beam Foster, age 76, of 112 Windmere Dr., Bremen passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007. Mrs. Foster was born in Randolph County, Alabama on August 20, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Chester Arthur Beam and the late Mary Lillian White Beam. Mrs. Foster was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired teacher with the Haralson County Schools. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleadies J. Foster; and a daughter, Donna Sue Foster. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Raymond Crossley of Buchanan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sheila Foster of Pocatello, Idaho and Jeffrey and Cheryl Foster of Buchanan; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Don Sheppard of Midvale, Utah, Gloria and Ben Peak of Madison, Indiana and Vickie and Mike Turner of Madison, Indiana; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Charles Beam of LaGrange and Bill and Ann Beam of Simpson, Illinois; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Dr. W.A. Ivie and Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
