Mildred Marie Brown Craft, age 76, of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Born on January 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Newman Brown and the late Grace Moore Brown.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Craft and one grandson, Hunter Craft.

Marie retired from Warren Sewell Clothing company where she worked in shipping. Some of her favorite hobbies were working in her flower garden, arts and crafts projects, sewing and remodeling.  She was a faithful member of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Oak Level, AL.  Marie loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Craft of Waco and Ronnie and Saralyn Craft of Waco; her two grandchildren and their spouses, Cassie and Andrew Corbitt of Bremen and Tyler and Ariel Craft of Waco; and her five great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her three sisters, Arlene Jones of Mt. Zion, Terrie (Mike) Shaw of Marietta, and Sherrie (Ben) Stanley of Florida; her two brothers Billy Brown of Gadsden, AL, and Leo (Patricia) Brown of Cedartown;  and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Marie Craft will be conducted on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM  from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie "Bud" Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Waco Baptist Church Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers: Tyler Craft, Doug Keaton, Chris Harrell, Bobby Parker, David Coy and David Ledbetter.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 1st from noon until the funeral hour.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
