Micheal Maner, age 64 of Bremen, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at his residence.  Born on February 19, 1960, in Dallas, he was the son of the late Tommy Gene Maner and the late Mary Frances Tidwell Maner.  In addition to his parents, Mikey is also preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Robertson Maner, who left this world in January , and a grandson, T.J. Thompson.

A master craftsman at woodworking, Mikey was known for his beautiful tables, benches and his unique birdhouses.  On many weekends he could be found listening to his family members play their guitars.  Most mornings, Mikey could be found at his dining room table listening to "Trade Line" on WKNG radio.  He was a caregiver at heart and  loved helping others. However, Pawpaw, as he was known by his children and grandchildren, was the ultimate family man.  His talents, wit, love and care will be deeply missed by his family.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters and sons-in-law, Cristi Maner of Villa Rica, Beth & Joe Parsons of Carrollton, and Magan & Michael Butler of Draketown; and 6 precious grandchildren: Courtney Young, Hunter Parsons, Madison Butler, Maizie Butler, Hendley Parsons, and Journey Thompson.  Also surviving are his sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn West  and Connie & Lee Bradley, all of Franklin; his brothers and sister-in-law, David & Rena Maner of Bremen and Dewayne Maner of Draketown; his cousins, Mandi and Starr Edwards; his father and mother-in-law, Allen & Carolyn Robertson; brothers-in -law and sisters-in-law, Dan & Melissa Robertson and Doug & Julia Robertson, as well as many other extended family members.

Funeral services for Mike Maner will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randall Moore officiating and family giving the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Church of God Cemetery in Temple.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from Noon until the funeral hour.
