IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael "Mike"
Traylor
January 3, 1951 – November 28, 2024
Michael "Mike" Glenn Traylor, age 73 of Bremen, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. Born in Bremen on January 3, 1951, he was the son of the late James Traylor and the late Florence Wright Martin. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brothers Steve Traylor and Mark Traylor.
Mike was a sports fanatic, whether cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs or coaching his girls and grandchildren. For several years, he was a lay coach with the Mt. Zion Eagles Girls' Softball Team, helping them chase the state title. His current life revolved around his grandchildren, and Pops enjoyed helping coach them in football and baseball. As a tool & die machinist for Jac Products, Mike worked with his hands and that carried over into his love of woodworking. Pops loved his family dearly and will be so missed.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Teresa Frazier Traylor; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tara & Scott Young of Carrollton and Tamra & Josh Amer of Bremen; his precious grandchildren who lovingly called him Pops or Poppy: Hayden Young, Elijah Amer, Ethan Amer, Haven Young, Hattie Young, and Emery Amer. Also surviving are a sister, Patty Jiles of Buchanan, and a brother Keith Martin of Carrollton, as well as other extended family and friends.
In keeping with Mike's wishes, he will be cremated. The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Traylor family.
