Mr. Michael Dwayne Taylor, age 48, of Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012. Mr. Taylor was born in Villa Rica on July 24, 1964. He was the son of James David Taylor and Rosa Parrish Adams.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sherry Ann Taylor of Tallapoosa, Bonnie Jo and Michael Upton of Rockmart and Shiela and Kent Johnson of Buchanan; one son, Michael Dwayne Taylor of Buchanan; one sister, Sally Hope Adams of Mount Zion; one brother and sister-in-law, James David and Menecia Taylor of Muscadine, AL; five grandchildren, Tiffany Upton, Tristen Upton, Landon Upton, Josie Ann Taylor and Corey Neil Taylor; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. David McKenzie officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
