Mr. Michael Ray Stapleton, age 62, of Waco passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. Mr. Stapleton was born in Griffin on February 2, 1951. He was the son of the late Robert Alonzo Stapleton and the late Mary Elizabeth Holcombe Stapleton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby David Stapleton.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Whitmarsh Stapleton of Waco; one daughter, Debra Ann Stapleton of Buchanan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon and Katie Gerlach of Bremen and Stephen Starbuck and Marsha Stapleton of Huntington, WV; twenty grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. from New Horizon Worship Center, 600 Old Pleasant Hill Rd., Waco, GA.
