Mr. Michael Allen Jones, Sr., age 70, of Cedartown passed Thursday, March 1, 2018.  Mr. Jones was born in Cedartown, Georgia, on December 20, 1947.  He was the son of the late Ernest Nathaniel Jones and the late Ethel Broome Jones.  Mr. Jones was a retired forklift operator with Newark Paper Company.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Marie Malcolm.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Carter Jones of Cedartown; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Kristy Jones of Cedartown, and Buddy Jones of Huntsville, AL; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jimmy Wright of Cedartown; three grandchildren, Grace Jones, Nathan Jones and Amy Jones; and a number of other relatives.
