Mr. Michael James Collins, age 65, of Carrolton passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016.  Mr. Collins was born in Jewell, Iowa on August 23, 1950.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a millwright.  He was preceded in death by his father, Alton J. Collins.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Reaves Collins of Carrollton; his mother, Lorraine Collins of Carrollton; God Children, Andrew Smith and Kayla Smith; five sisters, Pam Smith, Cindy and her husband Joe Williamson, Neva and her husband Keith Higgs, Beth and her husband Tony Bailey and Debbie and her husband Kenny Rollins; two brothers, Bill and his wife Kelly Collins and Tony and his wife Lori Collins; and a number of nieces; nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Omni Chirstian Services of Carrollton.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
