Mr. Merle "Buddy" Travis Farmer, Sr., age 67 of Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born on June 17, 1952 in Franklin to the late Travis Elton Farmer and the late Virginia Puckett Farmer. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Elton Ray "Bo" Farmer.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Amber Nicole (Alonzo) Parmer Harrison of Carrollton and Hilary Wiggins of Carrollton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Merle Travis "Trae" Farmer, Jr. Of Carrollton, Rodney Wayne (Kandi) Faulkner of Whitesburg and Justin (Sara) Hicks of Fort Oglethorpe; life patner, Wanda Faulkner of Carrollton; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Gail (JC) Pittman of Carrollton and Jenny (Tony) Tomes of Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Natali Faulkner, Kaid Faulkner, Haegan Faulkner, Anslee Faulkner, Jordan Wiggins, Zoey Harrison, Zachary Harrison, Journey Harrison, Clayton Sheheane, Hunter Hicks and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Farmer's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM from New Harmony Baptist Church with Brother Anthony Puckett officiating.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
