Mr. Melvin Andrew Millwood, age 64, of Rockmart passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. Mr. Millwood was born in Woodstock on March 17, 1947. He was the son of the late Andre Millwood and the late Ethel Birk Millwood.

Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Millwood of Rome, Jennifer Millwood of Cartersville and Valerie Millwood of Taylorsville; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jonathan Lamb of Cartersville, Marcus and Christina Millwood of Rockmart and Matthew Millwood of Rockmart; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Gloria and Jimmy Howard of Buchanan and Annie Carlisle of Buchanan; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Wendy Millwood of Acworth, Lonnie and Sarah Millwood of Kennesaw, Stanley Millwood and Charles and Jean Millwood of Acworth; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
