Ms. Melanie Key Bagby, age 62 of Tallapoosa, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022.  Born in Cedartown, GA, on April 16, 1959, she was the only daughter of Joyce Mann Key and the late Bobby Lee Key.  In addition to her father, Melanie is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Bagby. She was a graduate of Haralson County High School and was a talented artist. Melanie enjoyed drawing and making jewelry, and in addition to loving her family dearly, she also loved animals..

Her survivors include her son, Robert "Robbie" Woodson Bagby of Tallapoosa; her mother, Joyce Key of Tallapoosa; and her brother and sister-in-law, Trevor and Sandra Key of Bowdon.

In accordance with her wishes, Melanie will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
