Mr. Max Hayward Johnson, Jr., age 55, of Rockmart passed away Monday, June 12, 2017.  Mr. Johnson was born in Decatur, Georgia, on February 9, 1962.  He was the son of the late Max "Bubby" Hayward Johnson, Sr. and the late Jeannine Armstrong Johnson.  Mr. Johnson was a painter.

Survivors include one son, Troy Johnson of Stockbridge; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and Gerald Jones of Rockmart, and Michelle and Philip Cromer of Alabama; one grandchild, Dennis Johnson; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
