Matthew Edward Phillips, age 43 of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born on October 8, 1980 in Carrollton to Anthony Floyd Phillips and Paula Ann Morris Phillips.

Survivors include in addition to his parents his children, Myra Ann Phillips and Mason Phillips; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Brandi Phillips; nephews, Calvin Phillips, Slade Phillips, Nolan Phillips and KJ Baldwin and several other relatives and friends.

In keep with the family's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a celebration of Matthew's life on January 14, 2024, from noon until 4:00 PM at the Clem Community Center

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
