Matthew Dalton Cowart, age 20 of Bowdon, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. He was born on July 29, 2000 to Cheryl Anne Ray. He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Harry A. Ray, III and a brother, Christian Arrant.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Cheryl Ray and John Arrant of Bowdon; sister, Sarah Cowart of Bowdon; grandparents, Bertha Ray and Michael Barnes of Bethlehem, GA and Irene McCormick; uncle and aunts, Robert and Karen Ray and Donna Arrant; cousins, Reanna Michener and Drake Copeland; best friend, Ben Ashley and several other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
