Mary June Morris, age 86 of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Cedartown to the late James Marion Shaw and the late Mary Elizabeth Mann Shaw. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Morris; sister, Lizzie Faye Bishop; brothers, James Marion Shaw, Jr., Horace William Shaw, Edgar Cecil Shaw, Willie Dean Shaw and Preston Jack Shaw and one niece, Deana Shaw Malone.

Survivors include her nephews, Terry Dean Shaw, Dennis Shaw and Bobby Shaw; niece, Rhonda Shaw Vines and several other relatives and friends.

Gravesides services will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Piney Woods Cemetery with Reverend Randy Redden officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Steve Vines, Dennis Shaw, Zach Morris, Hayden Morris, Nathan Shaw, Shawn Coggins, Devin Coggins, Keith Brown and Ben Briscoe.
