Ms. Mary Ann Dover Phillips, age 71 of Summerville, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1949 to the late John William Dover and the late Bertha Williams Dover.

Ms. Phillips is a survivor of COVID-19 even tho she had many preexisting illnesses.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy and Scotty Wever of Rome and Nicole Dover of Rome; two sons, David M. Barnes of Rome and Scotty Phillips of Rome; three sisters, Patricia Jones of Summerville, Alice Lingerfelt of Cartersville and Geraldine Dover of Cartersville; two brothers, Robert Dover of Cartersville and Jimmy Dover of Cartersville; eleven grandchildren and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ms. Phillips wishes she will be cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
