Ms. Mary Elizabeth Green Patterson, age 79, of Bremen passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. Ms. Patterson was born in Haralson County on March 27, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Green and the late Abbie Head Green. Ms. Patterson had worked in a local nursing home for several years. Survivors include three daughters, Nona Bransford, Kim Morton and Jody Perine; two sons, Randy Jackson and Ricky Jackson; four sisters, Betty Nelson, Rhonda Shuemake, Patricia Kugler and Diane Green; two brothers, Curtis Green and Wayne Green; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces, Lynette Poss and Missy White; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Welcome Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Green and Rev. Johnny Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
