Mrs. Mary Louise Ayers McKibben, age 82, of 248 Carrollton St., Buchanan passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Mrs. McKibben was born in Haralson County on December 1, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Sirah Ayers and the late Annie Brown Ayers. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McKibben; two brothers, Freeman Ayers and Edward Ayers and one nephew, Sonny Ayers. Survivors include one niece, Ellen Williams of Buchanan; five nephews, Steve Ayers of Bremen, Ken Ayers of Felton, Tim Ayers of Cedartown, Gary Cummings of Felton and Michael Cummings of Illinois; and a number of cousins and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 11, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Caldwell, Rev. George Pike and Rev. Kevin Ayers officiating. Music will be rendered by The Richards Family, Mavis Caldwell and Buddy Gentry. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery in Cedartown with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ralph Carter, Richard Carter, Billy Joe Ayers, Lowell Ayers, Vance Posey, Allen Williams, David McKibben and Mike McKibben. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The remains will lie in state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
