Mrs. Mary Jayne Herren Martin, age 78, of Carrollton passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Mrs. Martin was born in Randolph County, Alabama on July 3, 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband, Millard Ray Martin, Sr.; her parents,  Robert Herren and Leona Dye Herren; two brothers, Cleveland Herren and Grifffin Herren and two sisters, Ellen Herren Webb and Wyomey Ledbetter.

Survivors include one daughter Terri Richards of Carrollton; two sons, James Kenneth Harper of Conyers and Jimmy Lynn Harper of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Kevin Richards, Ashley Weaver, Tiffany Puckett, Victoria Richards, Jesse Harper and Chyanne Harper; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Keaton of Carrollton, Florence Kittle of Carrollton and Barbara Braswell of Waco and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mrs. Martin's wishes she was cremated.

The family will host a memorial on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
