Mrs. Mary Eleanor Austin Laffiteau, age 82, of Powder Springs passed away Friday, April 4, 2014.  Mrs. Laffiteau was born in Atlanta on September 3, 1931.  She was the daughter of the late J. Frank Austin and the late Sue Manning Austin.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Laffiteau.

Survivors include three daughters, Helen Milligan, Susan Williams and Denise Wells; four sons, Charles A. Laffiteau, William J. Laffiteau, Davie E. Laffiteau and James M. Lffiteau; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted in Memphis, Tennessee at a later date.
