Mrs. Mary Frances Walker Fox, age 86, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Mrs. Fox was born in Etowah County, Alabama on May 7, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Newt S. Walker and the late Jessie Mae Rollins Walker. Mrs. Fox was a retired secretary for the Georgia Cooperative Extension Service. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Fox, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cheyra and John Causey of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Maurine Fox of Buchanan; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Holmes and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Gadsden, Alabama.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
