Mrs. Mary Ruth Chandler Ezell, age 72, of 155 Bill Ploof Rd., Buchanan passed away Friday, November 6, 2009. Mrs. Ezell was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on February 25, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Richard Marion Chandler and the late Lizzie Hill Chandler. Mrs. Ezell was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James Gordon Ezell of Buchanan; one daughter, Levone Locklear of Panama City Beach, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Sharon Ezell of Austell; one sister, Imogene Williams of Kannaoplis, NC; one brother, Steve Travis "Shorty" Chandler of Buchanan; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Calvin Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
