Mrs. Mary "Bonnie" Wilson Verner, age 88, of Buchanan passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 12, 1930. Mrs. Verner was the daughter of the late Luther Wilson and the late Evie (Kimball) Wilson. Besides her parents, Mrs. Verner  is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Charles Verner ; her two sons, Charles Wilson Verner and James Luther Verner; and her sister, Evelyn Maynard.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Verner and John Aldredge of Seattle, Washington and Lisa Verner and Michael DeMocker of New Orleans, Louisiana; her sister, Gwen McWhorter; her grandson, Charles John DeMocker; Caregiver, Kim Verner of Buchanan , Caregiver, Brad Yearta of Buchanan and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mrs. Verner's wishes, she will be cremated.

Memorial services will be conducted at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 6 P.M.
