Martin William Fortier, II

Martin William “Little Man” Fortier, II, age 26 of Carrollton passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. He was born in East Point on October 16, 1999.

Martin was a Master Chef at Frank @ the Old Mill Mediterranean Grill & Bar, where he worked his way up from age 13 washing dishes. Enjoyed cooking, going fishing, football, baseball, and an avid firearms enthusiast. Martin was a scary movies fan, especially the Halloween movie series. He was Christian by faith and loved the Lord. Even on his bad days, he always saw the positives. He had a huge heart, and always wanted to do for others. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. He looked up to his big brother Pat and his parents were his best friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Martin Fortier and Cheri (Furgerson) Wilson of Buchanan; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Patrick Furgerson and his wife Brittany of Panama City Beach, Florida, Bobby Kelly of LaGrange, and Christopher Kelly of Winder; his sister, Chancy Fortier of Union City; his maternal grandmother, Martha Furgerson of Carrollton, special family members, Natalie Haire “Twin”, Amy Meixner, and Michaela Furgerson “Mini Me”; best friends, Fernando Gonzalez and Jaylon Pollion; his girlfriend, Tezaray Mann and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 7 P.M. at Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor T.J. Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, prior to the service, from 5 P.M. until the funeral hour.

In accordance with the arrangements, Martin will be cremated following the funeral service.
