Mrs. Martha Lou Beaver Rankin, age 81, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2014.  Mrs. Rankin was born in Mountain, Oklahoma on December 3, 1933.  She was the daughter of the late Luther Gisson Beaver and the late Willie Johnson Beaver.  Mrs. Rankin had owned her own restaurant for a number of years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy William Rankin.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Nona and Casimer Brylski of Buchanan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Marion Clifford and Genevieve Ramsey of Huntsville, AR, Terry Lee and Christina Ramsey of Miami, FL and Donald Bruce and Sue Ramsey of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Linda Beaver of Aurora, CO; two brothers, Luther Gilbert Beaver and Gary Beaver both of Aurora, CO; and a number of grandchildren, step-children, and other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.  Interment will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
