Mrs. Martha Mozelle Murphy Little, age 83, of 5002 Buchanan Hwy., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Mrs. Little was born in Haralson County on January 5, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Doc Murphy and the late Vassie Spearman Murphy. Mrs. Little was a retired seamstress. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Alvin Little; two sisters, Buena Shelton and Edna Murphy. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Karen Little of Buchanan; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Addie Green of Lindale, Faye and Roy Dingler of Doraville and Jewell and Otto Fowler of Weedowee, Alabama; two grandchildren, Dustin Little of Buchanan and Kristen Little of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Michael Longshore. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Shelton, Jimmy Pope, Jerry Green, Murphy Addison, Dustin Little and Phil Lumpkin. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Dobbs. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
