Ms. Martha Jane Frey Dees, age 90, of Rockmart, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born on May 26, 1930, in Cobb County, GA, to the late William Joseph and Blaun Dean Frey.  Jane worked for many years in the retail grocery business in Bremen, retiring from Ingles in Bremen.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Dees, to whom she was married 61 years; a granddaughter, Sarah Dees, and a brother, C. A. Frey.

Left to cherish her memories are her four children and their spouses: Blaun and Luke Wiggins of Marietta; Martenla and Davey West of Rockmart; Joe Dees of Rockmart; and Jim and Sherry Dees of Heflin, AL; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Austin; and two brothers Morris Frey and Bill Frey.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Dees will be conducted Monday, January 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Teal Officiating.  Music will be provided by Mrs. Vicky Teal.  Private interment will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Josh West, Wesley Dees, Jon Robinson, Christopher Brannon, Randy Jackson, and John McCombs.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 11, from noon until the funeral hour.
