Mrs. Marsha Elaine Dewberry Sparks, age 70, of Buchanan passed away Friday, October 27, 2017.  Mrs. Sparks was born in the Buncombe Community of Haralson County, Georgia, on February 2, 1947.  She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sparks; one daughter, Susan Odom; one brother, Pete Dewberry; and father, William Walker Hammond Dewberry.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Christy Odom of Tallapoosa; one brother, Keith Dewberry of Temple; mother, Martha Roberts Dewberry of Tallapoosa; two grandchildren and their spouses, John and Ashley Odom, and Katie and Scott Bell; two great grandchildren, Kensley Odom and Allie Odom; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Robinson officiating.  Interment will follow in Centre Baptist Church Cemetery in Felton with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Hovie Roberts, Johnny Dewberry, Johnny Miller, Mark Sparks, Dan Sparks, John Sparks, Jackson Sparks and Jake McCollum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
