Mrs. Marlene Fordham Griffith, age 79 of Heflin, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born on October 21, 1939 in Cleburne County, Alabama to the late Fletcher Fordham and Madelene Bradford Fordham. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Griffith and a sister, Jackie White.

Survivors include two daughters and sons –in-law, Anita (Lewis) Morris of Bowdon and Kim (Ricky) Adams of Heflin; two sisters, Mary Lou Smith of Bremen and Louise Morgan of Heflin; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Morris, Matthew Morris, Landon Morgan, Hannah Adams and Tiffany Adams; two step grandchildren, Miranda Parmer and Stacy Alred; three step great grandchildren, Gavin Parmer, Mylah Parmer, Bailey Duffie and several other family members.

In keeping with Mrs. Griffith's wishes she will be cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
