Mark Green Broughton, age 60 of Bremen, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, in a local hospital. He was born on April 2, 1960, in Atlanta, GA, and brought so much joy to his parents,  the late Earnest Carrol Broughton and the late Reba White Broughton. Beside his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Shedd; two nephews, Scotty Huey and Rorey Huey.  Mark was a corporate pilot for the law firm of Conley, Griggs and Parton for over 10 years. He was also a pilot instructor and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Broughton was a member of the Waco Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Wheeler Broughton of Bremen; daughters, Ashley Wright of Tallapoosa, Amber Wright of Tallapoosa and Abby Wright of Bremen; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol Ann (Randy) Ray of Bossier City, LA; sister-in-law, Linda Shedd; a brother, Scott Broughton of Americas, Somalis; one granddaughter, Isabell Finley and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mark's wishes, he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements for Mr. Mark Broughton.
