Marilyn Denise Agan, age 62 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.  Born in Bremen, GA, on August 2, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Curlis Agan and the late Ruby Posey Agan.  In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her son, Doug Webb, and her nephew, Michael Agan.

A graduate of Haralson County High School, Denise continued her education at Floyd College where she received her nursing degree.  She was a caretaker at heart and had worked for many years at Tanner Health Systems and Countryside Nursing and Rehab.  However, her family was her passion.  A devoted grandmother, Denise loved spending time with her grandchildren whether they were fishing at the lake or going on a great adventure. She also enjoyed working on do it yourself projects.  Despite Denise's declining health, she continued to make sure that those around her were taken care of.

Her survivors include her son, Mark (Carrie)Webb of Buchanan; her precious grandchildren: Cassidy Webb of Buchanan, Masie Lands of Bowdon, Curt Webb of Buchanan, Abbie Webb of Buchanan, Kaylee Webb of Buchanan, Makayla Webb of Buchanan, Maizie Glore of Tallapoosa, and River Truett of Buchanan; and her sweet great grandchildren: Drake Croley and Colson Lands.  Also surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie & Chris Robins of Bremen; her brothers and sister-in-law, Lynn & Joy Agan of Bremen and Gary Agan of Newnan; her step-mother, Barbara Agan of Bremen; and her nieces and nephews: Chad Brown, Shannon Brown, April Freeman, Kristy Robins, and Ashley Agan Strange.

Funeral services for Denise Agan will be conducted on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Barry Golden officiating.  Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Community Cemetery in Buchanan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
