Ms. Maria Diane Cox, age 60, of Tallapoosa, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born on September 4, 1959, in Macon to Sidney Roy Cox and the late Peggie Ann Pender Cox.

Survivors include her father, Sidney Roy Cox of Tallapoosa; one daughter, April Ammons of Tallapoosa; three grandchildren, Brandon Ammons, Johnathan Ammons and Zachery Archer; two great-grandchildren, Swayze Ammons and Leviathon Ammons; one brother, Keith Cox of Tallapoosa and several nieces and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Joe Wilson officiating. Music will be rendered by Cornelia Watlet. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Brandon Ammons, Zachery Archer, Keith Cox, Jarrod Mattingly and Andrew Hill.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until the service hour.
