Margie Lorine Winters Bolden, age 88 of Newnan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at her residence.  Born on April 25, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Earl Winters and the late Leola Newborn Winters.  In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her son, Sidney Bearden; her brothers, Harvey Winters and Ewell Winters; and her former husband, Danny Bolden.

Growing up in Muscadine, Margie was a country girl at heart.  She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flowers.  Shopping was another one of Margie's favorite activities.  She had a good heart and will be missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her daughter, Margie Shepard of Newnan; her sons and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Monica Bearden of Eatonton and Stewart Bearden of Heard County; her five precious grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Margie Bolden will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. (Georgia time) from Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Homer Wysner officiating.  She will be laid to rest immediately following the service.
