Margie Lee Stapler

Margie Lee Arrington Stapler, age 77 of Waco, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026.  Born in Carrollton, Georgia, on July 31, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charlie Monroe Arrington and Betty Jo Kindrix Arrington.  In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her three sons: Randall Moore, Michael Moore, and Timmy Moore; her husband Ray Moore; and her two sisters: Mary Ruth Head and Joyce Marie Welch.

A care giver at heart, Margie worked for many years in housekeeping at Bagwell Nursing Home in Carrollton.  Taking care of people and speaking to everyone she had contact with brought her much joy.  In her leisure time, Margie spent hours looking for that special treasure at yard sales and also cooking for others.  Her sweet spirit and kindness will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Margie's wishes, she will be cremated.
