Mrs. Margaret Nolen Worthy, age 90, of Rockmart passed away Friday, June 20, 2014.  Mrs. Worthy was born in Paulding County on January 1, 1924.  She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Nolen and the late Annie Mae Shelnutt Nolen.  Mrs. Nolen was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmas Worthy; four sisters, Lucretia Shelley, Lillian Smith, Pauline Smith and Edna Hitchcock; and four brothers, Howard Nolen, Bunyon Nolen, Tommy Nolen and James Nolen.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Ellen Johnson, Margine and Johnny Finley all of Rockmart; one sister, Juanita Letherwood of Rockmart; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Hitchcock, Rev. Steve Thomas and Rev. Charles Worthy officiating.  Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry.  Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
