Mrs. Margaret Faye Shelton Pitts, age 59, of 44 Gold St., Bremen passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010. Mrs. Pitts was born in Dalton, Georgia on June 24, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Shelton and Jean Elizabeth Thompson Muse. Mrs. Pitts was retired as a supervisor with Sewell Manufacturing Company. Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Pitts of Bremen; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Vann and Tina Blankenship of Bremen, Ken Blankenship of Buchanan, Robbie Pitts of Tallapoosa and Russell Pitts of Bremen; mother, Jean Elizabeth Thompson Muse of Cave Spring; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ronald and Virginia Shelton of Cave Spring, Jeff and Marsha Shelton of Rome, Richard and Betty Muse of Cave Spring and Johnny Muse of Rome; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Travis Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Vann Blankenship, Ryan Blankenship, Russell Pitts, Dusty Blankenship, Josh Blankenship and Roy Hearn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tanner Hospice, 101 Clinic Ave., Carrollton, GA 30117.
