Mrs. Margaret Ellen (Hornsby) Morris, age 75, of Buchanan passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born in Heflin, Alabama on Tuesday, October 20, 1942. Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Lucille (Gibbs) Hornsby; her sisters, Billie Joyce Huckeba, Linda Bowling and Patsy Stephens; and her great-granddaughter, Annabelle Frady.

Survivors include her husband Ray Morris of Buchanan; two daughters, Denise Pollard of Buchanan and Teres Bergmann of Buchanan; four grandchildren, Drake Morris and his fiancé, Megan Grace of Buchanan, Haven Morgan and her husband Adam Morgan of Carrollton, Ellen Frady of Temple, and Dasch Bergmann of Savannah; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis Morris, Dawson Morris, Ansley Morris, Gage Morris, Abbygail Frady,  Kane Morris and Anders Morgan; her brother-in-law and his wife, Billy and Agnes Morris of Buchanan and a number of other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 5P.M. until 9P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 3 P.M. with Pastor Tim Landmon and Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Buchanan Church of God Cemetery.
