Ms. Margaret Patricia Hughes, age 69, of Waco passed away Friday, December 8, 2017.  Ms. Hughes was born in Bisbee, Arizona, on August 30, 1948.  She was the daughter of the late John Stephen Hughes and the late Katherine Maffeo Hughes.  Ms. Hughes was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was retired as a librarian at the University of West Georgia.

Survivors include brothers, Thomas Hughes and John Hughes both of California, and Michael Hughes of Marietta; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will conducted Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.
