Manolo Hernandez Dominguez, age 63 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, in a local hospital.  Born on November 13, 1961 in Cerrocolorado, Mexico, he was the son of the late Isidro Hernandez Garcia and the late Irma Dominguez Pina.  Manolo is also preceded in death by a son Elius Hernandez Romero and a sister Blanca Hernandez Dominguez.

Manolo was a hard worker.  In Mexico, he was a cattleman and farmer.  He was also a skilled basket craftsman. Moving to the United States in 2000, Manolo worked for many years at West Georgia Car Wash in Carrollton, and he later worked for more than 10 years at Trintex Tire Company before starting his own business.  Manolo founded Hernandez Landscaping Company in 2012.  He was known for doing excellent work.  He took pride in his work, but his pride and joy were his family.  And always by his side was his faithful companion lab, Toby.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Elia Romero Martinez; his sons and daughters-in-law, Josue Hernandez Romero and his wife, Guadelupe Piedra Moreno, Emmanuel Hernandez Romero and his wife Maria Madrigal Ruiz, and Manolo (Junior) Hernandez Romero; and his grandchildren: Angelique Alison Hernandez Madrigal, Emmanuel Hernandez Madrigal, Alexander Hernandez Madrigal, Maylin Hernandez Piedra, Kellan Hernandez Piedra, Emma Hernandez Piedra, Ashley Hernandez Medina, Xavy Hernandez Medina, and Moses Hernandez Peralta.  Also surviving are his sisters: Teresa Hernandez Dominguez, Gloria Hernandez Dominguez, Maria Hernandez Dominguez, Cecilia Hernandez Dominguez, and Virginia Solis Cardna; his brothers: Porfirio Hernandez Dominguez, Hugo Hernandez Dominguez, Jaime Hernandez Dominguez, and Ricardo Hernandez Dominguez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday morning at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM.

Following the service, Manolo will be cremated according to his wishes.
