Mae Irene Caldwell, age 69 of Bremen, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 24, 2023.  Born in Moonsocket, Rhode Island, on May 2, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Berube and the late Matilda Quinn Berube.  Mae was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Mae was a caregiver at heart and had proudly served in the United States Army from 1975 - 1977.  She was retired as a Medical Assistant at Grady Hospital where she had worked for more than fourteen years. However, Mae's favorite job was spoiling her grandchild.  Shopping for her family was her favorite pastime and Wal-Mart was usually her destination.  Mae was also an animal lover and enjoyed their companionship.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Susan Binion of Bremen, and Ronnie and Savannah Tucker of Macon; and her grandchildren, Adrianna Binion and David Binion, Jr.    Also surviving a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with her wishes, Mae will be cremated.  The family is planning a celebration of her life at a later date.
