Mr. Macklin Kelly Cantrell, age 56, of Buchanan passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. Mr. Cantrell was born in Paulding County on September 10, 1954. He was the son of the late Grover Cantrell and Genell Hulsey Cantrell. Survivors include his wife, Sara Woody Cantrell of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Josh Duff of Temple and Amy and Steven Gilbert of Temple; one son, Jonathan Cantrell of Buchanan; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Rachel Waits of Dallas, Elizabeth and Danny Adair of Dallas, Lee and David Hancock of Dallas, Darlene Walker and Wanda and Maxi Camp of Dallas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Michelle Cantrell of Dallas and Ralph and Mary Ann Cantrell of Dallas; one grandchild, Nathan Gilbert; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Gospel Time Baptist Church in Draketown with Rev. Ryan Williams, Rev. Brad Walker and Rev. Gary Farlow officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County. The remains will lie in state at the Church from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
