Mac W Cole, Jr.

Mac W. Cole, Jr., age 62 of Bremen, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 17, 2026. Born in Carrollton, GA, on December 8, 1963, he was the son of the late Mac Wyndle Cole, Sr. and the late April Karen Tapley Michaels. In addition to his parents, Mac is preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Cole, and his brother, Mark Cole.

A graduate of Pebblebrook High School, Mac’s journey through life was enriched by his passionate pursuits and the love he held for those around him. Known as a true jokester, he had a remarkable ability to lift spirits with his humor and an encyclopedic memory about lots of trivia. His green thumb was more than a hobby—his vegetable garden had the best veggies. Hunting was another passion that defined Mac. Whether tracking deer or turkey, he found peace in the outdoors. Mac was also an avid Alabama football fan. Perhaps the greatest joy for Mac was spending time with his family. His love for travel took him and his family on unforgettable adventures, especially to Yellowstone. These memories, rich with laughter and love, will forever be a testament to his adventurous spirit, his love of family, and his deep appreciation for life’s beauty.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 20 years, Cheri Moore Cole of Bremen; his daughters and sons-in-law, Nikki & Pyron McCard of Buena Vista and Ashley & Dustin Lane of Carrollton; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Kimberly Weston of Franklinton, NC; and his precious grandchildren: Savannah, Trinity, Baylee, Amelia, Kenley, Christopher, Kayley, Elizabeth, and Tyler. Also surviving are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelli & Leroy Lowe and Amy & Scott Johnson, all of Butler; his brother and sister-in-law, Lee & Lajuan Harris of Butler; his nieces and nephews: Cameron (Ashley) Ward, Brittany (Brelan) Crowe, Kaleigh Harris, Leroy (Abby) Lowe, Cody Harris, Carlie (Jacob) Hobbs, and Ashtyn Varnum; and his great nieces, Eleanor and Brierlee and great-nephew, Micah.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at Corinth Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM with Pastor Barry Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
