Mr. Luther Howard Stover, age 85, of Temple passed away Friday, October 4, 2013. Mr. Stover was born in Overton County, Tennessee on April 25, 1928. He was the son of the late Alexander Martin Stover and the late Myrtle Ruble Stover. Mr. Stover was retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was also the retired owner of Atlanta Door Controls. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Lockhart Stover.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cynthia Stover of Roanoke, VA; one brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Louise Stover of Alpine, TN; two grandchildren, Scarlett Stover and Graceson Stover; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Gordon Freewill Baptist Church in Rainell, WV. Interment will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Crawley, WV.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Monday afternoon at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
