Luther William Long, age 57 of Cartersville, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born on December 4, 1964 in Fulton county to the late Luther Ronald Long and Betty Wilbanks Couch. Besides his father he is preceded in death by his son, Luther William Long, Jr. and one sister, Kimberly Parr.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Wilbanks Couch of Catersville; daughters, Angel Long of Florida, Krista Clay of Marietta and Kayla Clay of Marietta; sister, Susan Smith of Temple; three brothers, Phil Long of Tallapoosa, Dale Long and Heath Long of Catersville; grandchildren, Zoie Long and Treyvon Clay; Life Long Friend, Lisa Clay; nephews, Joshua Lucas and John Lane and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes he will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
