Mr. Luis Alfredo Prats, age 57, of Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011. Mr. Prats was born in Havana, Cuba on April 26, 1953. He was the son of the late Alfredo Prats and the late Eumelia Lopez Prats. Mr. Prats was a retired Baptist Minister. Survivors include his wife, Celia M. Prats of Tallapoosa; One son and daughter in-law Gabriel and Alicia Prats of Tallapoosa; two sisters, Martha Carrillo of Pennsylvania and Carmen Lucena of Miami, FL; one grandchild, Anthony James Prats; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. from Providence Baptist Church in Roopville. The body was cremated. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
