Mrs. Lucy Ridley Eaves, age 90, of Carrollton formerly of Buchanan passed away Friday, August 12, 2011. Mrs. Eaves was born in Haralson County on May 11, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Charley A. Ridley and the late Annie Baxter Ridley. Mrs. Eaves was a retired supervisor with Cluett, Peabody Company (Arrow Shirt) in Buchanan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Eaves; one sister, Ruby Verner; and two brothers, Hal Ridley and Billy Ridley. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathy Eaves of Bremen; one sister, Eldis Perry of Buchanan; two sisters-in-law, Sara Rogers of Bremen and Mildred Ridley of Douglasville; grandchildren; Jared and Amanda Eaves of Nashville, TN and Lauren Eaves of Atlanta; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Reverend W.A. Ivie and Reverend Ronnie Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Donnie Ridley, Ronnie Ridley, Bob Ridley, Jack Smith, Gerald Eaves, and Ricky Eaves. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
